How to Plan the Perfect Co-Ed Bachelorette and Bachelor Party

How to Plan the Perfect Co-Ed Bachelorette and Bachelor Party

Typically bachelor and bachelorette parties are seen as separate events – the bride-to-be gets to get away with her bridesmaids and the groom heads out with his groomsmen. But sometimes a couple would rather celebrate together with the entire wedding party! If that describes you, here are some great ideas for co-ed bachelor/bachelorette parties to consider.

Go to a Music Festival

If everyone in your party has similar tastes in music, a festival can be a great option for a multi-day co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party. You’ll just need a ticket for everyone, and you can opt for camping at the festival or rent a house nearby for everyone to share.

Go to an amusement park.

For a day of fun and adrenaline, head to your nearest theme park and spend a day riding roller coasters and trying out the fun rides they might have. This is great if you’re working with a group that has different tastes. People can try the big coasters or stick to the smaller rides if that’s what they’d prefer.

Go camping!

If you’re more of an adventurous type, consider heading out into the wilderness for a camping weekend. You can bond with your friends by the fire and spend your days hiking, swimming, and doing whatever fun outdoor activities you can think of!

Have a competitive backyard game night

For a party closer to home, pick the biggest backyard you have access to and set up an outdoor game night along with snacks, food, and spread out some blankets and pillows for relaxing in between games. You can try classics like beer pong or other drinking games, or you can head to the thrift store and pick up used and cheap copies of classic board games to use for the party. That way you won’t have to worry about pieces going missing or people spilling on the games.

Rent a house on Airbnb or VRBO for the weekend.

One of the most accommodating and customizable ways to celebrate a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party weekend is to rent a whole house on Airbnb or VRBO. Pick a location like a beautiful coastal retreat or a charming forest cabin and rent a house with enough space for everyone in your group. You can drink, eat, and bond as a group for a whole weekend. It can be a cost-effective option as well!
